Q - How often should I wash my hair?
A - ​It is best to wash your hair every 2nd to 3rd day so you can let the natural oils come through.

Q- How often should I get a haircut?
A- Regular haircuts keep your hair healthy. It can range for different hair types and lengths. Shorter hairstyles may need to be trimmed every 4-5 weeks as they can grow out of shape, but the average is every 6-10 weeks.

Q- Why is it important to alternate between half head of foils and a full head?

A- The less colour in your hair the better. Alternating gives the hair a break from colour underneath. ​

Q- Why is a thermal protector a must have in styling products?

A- A thermal protector styling product is a must have for everyone. With coloured hair to natural it protects the hair from heat damage from hair dryers, straightening irons and curling wands.

Q- What makes a hair salon product better then a supermarket product?

A- Supermarket shampoos are generally detergent based products which strips the colour out of your hair and leaving it dry. Salon only products are more concentrated, their ingredients are more refined and will give your hair the proper nutrients.

Q- Why did we choose Keune and muk?

A- We chose Keune as they are a salon exclusive product and have hi quality products, with conditioning colours to give extra shine after a colour service. Muk was chosen as it is a well known name to a wide range of clients. Still with the quality and wide range to choose from.

Q- What is a toner?

A- A toner is mainly used on blonde clients to reduce any unwanted yellow/brassy tones on the hair.

​

Q- Should I wash my hair before my appointment?

A- If you are coming for a colour service it is best if the hair is a little dirty as colour can take better and can be easier to foil. If you are in for a trim only it is optional if you wanted your hair washed as some clients prefer not to.

Q- When washing our hair should we shampoo twice?

A- Yes. The first shampoo gets rid of any product build up, dirt and pollution. The second shampoo gives your hair and scalp a proper cleanse.

Q- Should I apply conditioner to my roots?

A- No. Your scalp naturally produces enough oils to give your hair a conditioning effect. Conditioner should be applied from your mid lengths through to your ends.
